The Campaign For Fairer Votes
Campaigning for fairer votes continues, and this is your chance to get rid of the archaic First Past the Post system.
Throughout the country activists and campaigners are joining together to replace that system with Alternative Vote (AV). Av is the system which forces your MP to work harder for your vote and to serve your community.
Join the Lib Dem Yes! to Fairer Votes Facebook group
Over the coming week until the May 5th Referendum the campaign for fairer votes by the Liberal Democrats will be fighting to bring a 'Yes' vote. We need your support in this campaign. This is set to be a tough campaign with millions of pounds being spent by the same people who benefit from the old system to ensure they keep their job for life. We want to bring and end to those 'jobs for lives', counter 'tactical voting' and ensure MP's work harder for your vote.

We can only achieve this with your help. We need you to inspire, enthuse and persuade your friends, family and neighbours to come out on May 5 and cast their ballot for fairer votes.
We will keep you posted on how the campaign is progressing, but to be part of this historic opportunity to shape the future, join the Liberal Democrats’ Fairer Votes Campaign below.
