Margot Clark

Baillie Margot Clark is Councillor for Linn Ward. She was first elected in 2006 at the famous King’s Park By-Election, and was re-elected to the new Linn Ward in 2007 and 2012. About Margot Clark

Margot was a teacher by profession. During her career, she taught at St. Mirren’s Primary School, Simshill and St, Margaret Mary’s Primary School in Castlemilk. She was later Head Teacher at Sighthill Nursery, St. Constantine’s Primary School in Govan and St. Bridget’s Primary School in Toryglen.

Margot has had a long association with the Children’s Hearings, having been a long serving member of the Children’s Panel. She continues to receive appointments as a Safeguarder to the Children’s Panel.
