Today the Glasgow Liberal Democrats have announced a number of their constituency candidates for the Scottish Parliament elections in May 2011.
This Follows recently announced Glasgow Regional list candidates.
They are:
Anniesland - Paul McGarry
Cathcart - Eileen Baxendale
Kelvin - Natalie McKee
Maryhill and Springburn - Sophie Bridger
Pollok - Isabel Nelson
Shettleston - Paul Graham

In case you are surprised by the name at the end of this, Rosie Ilett had to step down because of pressure of work. Many thanks are due to her for everything she did during her tenure and, particularly, for seeing us through the General Election.
So I have taken over until the AGM. It feels a bit like having come full circle as, if I remember correctly, my first official role in a local party was much the same – only in those days it was Maryhill and we were simply the Liberal Party. That will give you some clue as to how long ago it must have been and actually it was considerably more than that.
