Opening Ceremony was Best of British

Commenting on the opening of the Olympic Games in London, Leader of the Scottish Liberal Democrats Willie Rennie MSP said:

“This really was the best of British. The opening ceremony told Britain’s story with colour, humour and a forever changing backdrop.

“The Games have got off to a spectacular start even before the athletes have played their part. We have over two weeks of world class sport to look forward to and I know we will all cheer on our sportsmen and woman to Olympic success.”
