Paul Kennedy

For 30 years, Paul served in a wide variety of roles with Strathclyde Police Force, covering areas in Glasgow and West Dunbartonshire, and now works as a mathematics teacher at a secondary school. The late Charles Kennedy, former leader of the Liberal Democrats, was instrumental in introducing Paul, his older cousin, to politics. Those experiences have shown Paul that elected office should be about public service and making a real difference to peoples' lives.

Glasgow and Scotland has so much going for it. But right now, too many people feel like things aren’t working. Their household bills are soaring, they’re waiting too long to see a GP and Scottish education just isn’t what it used to be. People are tired and frustrated and they’re right to be. They deserve better.
