Thank you for voting Scottish Liberal Democrat

We would like to thank everyone across Glasgow who supported, campaigned for, or voted Scottish Liberal Democrat on either or both of their ballots at this election. 

Across all constituencies across the city, we saw our vote share increase on both ballots as part of a great night for the party across Scotland, where 10 MSPs were elected — an increase of six since 2021. While we did not manage to get a regional MSP for Glasgow this time we did see our vote share almost double and less than 1,000 votes from beating the Tories.

Our focus will now turn to next year’s local elections, where we have a great opportunity return a Liberal voice to the city chambers. 

We will continue working all year round for our communities, delivering change with fairness at its heart.
