Scottish Liberal Democrat candidate Daniel Khan-O'Malley has today said that voting for their party in Glasgow on the second, peach regional ballot paper will get stuff done for local people in the next parliamentary term.

It comes as Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Alex Cole-Hamilton launched the party’s campaign earlier this week.

Scottish Liberal Democrat lead candidate for Glasgow, Daniel Khan-O'Malley, said:

“We know you feel let down by the other parties.

“We think that Glasgow deserves better than this, but it needs to be change with fairness at its heart.

“Household bills are soaring. You’re waiting too long to see your GP. The ferries fiasco is a national embarrassment. And Scottish education just isn’t what it used to be.

“Scottish Liberal Democrats believe in fairness for everyone, no matter who you are or where you come from. That’s why we have a realistic plan to get things done: delivering first-rate healthcare, helping you with the cost of living, getting Glasgow moving again and getting Scottish education back to its best.

“Liberal Democrats are winning again, with more councillors, a record number of MPs and more to come.

“By voting for the Scottish Liberal Democrats on the peach, regional ballot paper in Glasgow, you can deliver real change for our city from the other parties. It's the best way to make sure we get things done for the people of Glasgow in the next parliament.

“Glasgow deserves better. And with the Scottish Liberal Democrats, you can vote for it."
